Dr. Franz Schönbauer is a lecturer at the faculty of computer science at the Vienna University of Technology. He is a member of the Research group for Industrial Software Engineering (INSO). His research focus is on self organizing systems and software engineering for large industrial systems. He is involved in teaching a software engineering workshop for 300 students. Besides his academic work he has done systems engineering consulting as well as people and process management in various industrial projects.
